The Compact PET Shipping System allows for the safe transport and administration of one or two unit dose pigs. This heavy-duty, waterproof system meets all DOT type A packing requirements. The system includes a nylon shipping bag, removable pockets, a radioactive material placard, and insert foams. All lead that is exposed on the pig and pig holder is covered by stainless steel, making the product environmentally safe. The design of the system eliminates the need to touch the pig because the metal ring located on the top of the pig automatically raises when the pig holder lid is open. The user can then use the pig hook to hook onto the pig for use. The included high density foam will enable safe transport, and the shipping bag has removable, replaceable, and transparent pockets that can be used to place the radioactive material placards.
